Today we’d like to introduce you to
NeeNee Horton.
NeeNee, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I had a pretty normal childhood. My dad was in the military, so as a kid, we traveled a lot and got to explore many parts of the world. Fast forward to the present, I have an amazing fiancé of 16 years(we are high school sweethearts) and we have three beautiful daughters together. After graduating college with 2 degrees, I started out working job after job; but nothing was really fulfilling. I entered into corporate America in 2014 & in 2017, stumbled upon a career path in insurance that afforded me a hefty six-figure salary. With this, I was able to invest more in my entrepreneurial dreams. After a complicated pregnancy and the birth of our youngest daughter in 2017, I became interested in improving my looks. I researched cosmetic surgery and the top surgeons in the industry. After speaking with three of my choices, I was ultimately denied for cosmetic surgery due to health reasons. At that point, my focus shifted to the beauty industry to find an alternative that was less invasive. And in 2018 is when BodyVibes Studio was born! Here we make sure we are using the most quality & up to date products and state-of-the-art equipment to give all of our clients the confidence they need to look and feel better about themselves! I also want to show my three daughters that women can own and operate successful businesses.
Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Choosing to become a full-time business owner vs a full-time employee has its advantages and disadvantages. It’s a lot of things you have to learn from experience, and sometimes those lessons can be costly. So in part, this journey so far has not been a smooth, but I have learned a lot of valuable lessons. The stress of building a brand from the ground up, establishing business credit, marketing, getting the right exposure, overcoming the initial fear and doubt, & finding the right marketing/PR/social media manager so I can stop investing money to in the wrong “marketing and branding experts”; are just a few of the obstacles that I have faced on this journey.

We specialize in accentuating the buttocks and slimming the waist. What sets us apart from others in the industry is the relationship that we build with our clients. We know firsthand what it feels like to have a lack of self-confidence and what it takes to get you to love the body you’re in!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to continue building the brand, offer multiple classes for those who aspire to be in the same industry and become a full-service medspa.
